Social Media Guidelines
At Walt's Wardrobe, we believe social media is a powerful and useful tool that connects us to the bigger world, gives us a place to share our voice, and can be used as a force for good.
We love collaborating with social media influencers who consistently create a positive and encouraging environment online. You are representing yourself and our brand, and to keep a consistent voice and reflect a brand of integrity, we have a few requirements:
- Full disclosure of your relationship with Walt's Wardrobe
- Positive and Inspiring content
As a Collaborator, we trust you. That’s why you’re part of our fantastic community. You’re the best person to share our products and why Walt's Wardrobe is such an amazing company. We want to ensure that the people in this community and Walt's Wardrobe are protected and that social media stays a force for good!
Anyone can say anything online, so to keep the integrity of your brand and our brand, we ask all posts to be ethical, truthful, and decent.
In compliance with FTC Guidelines, if you are making money from us, you must disclose our relationship and that you are being paid for a particular service. Please note that this disclosure is required regardless of any space limitations of the medium (e.g., Twitter and Instagram), where the disclosure can be made via hashtags. Please include hashtag #wwcollaborator. This lets your followers know that you’re affiliated with us.
Your statements should always reflect your honest and truthful opinions and actual experiences. Please only make factual comments about Walt's Wardrobe and our products which you know for sure are true and can be verified.
Positive and Inspiring Content
We are part of the human race, which means every one of us is in some small way are connected, and we all deserve to be treated with dignity and respect. All blog posts, social media statuses, tweets, and/or comments should be in good taste and free of inappropriate language and/or any content promoting bigotry, racism, or discrimination based on race, gender, religion, nationality, disability, sexual orientation, or age.
Practice the golden rule. This includes our company, Walt's Wardrobe, and other Collaborator.
If we ever feel that the content you post does not align with our brand or does not reflect the positive and inspiring message we strive to promote, we hold the right to ask for the content to be removed, and this could lead to termination from the Collaborator program.
Also, if you ever feel like another Collaborator is posting inappropriate content or is not representing our brand in a positive light, please email us at email@example.com with your concerns. Please do not use social media as a place to publicly shame or humiliate another person in this company or community.
